Delete your PetVita account and data

This page explains how to delete your PetVita app account and what happens to your data. You do not need the app installed to make the request.

App: PetVita. Data controller: see the "Controller" section of the Privacy Policy.

In the app

1. Open PetVita and sign in.
2. Tap Profile, then Privacy.
3. Tap Delete my account.
4. Read the notice, type the confirmation word shown on screen (DELETE) and tap "Yes, delete my account".

Access ends immediately and the data is erased right after. This cannot be undone.

Without the app or without access to your account

Write to contato@petvita.tech from the email registered on the account, with the subject "Delete my PetVita account". We reply to confirm the request is yours and, once confirmed, we delete the account and data within 15 days.

If you subscribe to Premium, cancel the subscription first

Deleting the account does not cancel billing on Google Play. To cancel: open Google Play, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, choose PetVita and tap Cancel subscription.

What happens to your data

We delete

• Your account and sign-in access
• Your pets and all their records: vaccines, medications, feeding, weight, visits, exams and history
• Uploaded photos and documents
• Reminders, scheduled notifications and preferences
• Subscription and billing data tied to the account

We keep for a while

• A minimal record, with no health data, that deletion was requested and completed (for example, a code derived from the email), to prove we fulfilled the request
• Backups: deleted data leaves backups within 30 days, when old copies are discarded
• Records the law requires us to keep, such as transaction records, if there is billing

Only joined the waitlist?

Use the "Leave the list" link in every waitlist email, or write to contato@petvita.tech. Your email is removed from the list immediately.

Timing and questions

In the app, deletion is immediate. By email, we finish within 15 days after confirming the request is yours. Questions: contato@petvita.tech.
